1, Rue des Pretres St. Séverin Paris 5 Metro: St. Michel
Located in Latin Quarter (Left Bank), the origin of St. Severin goes back to the 6th century when a hermit by the name of Severin lived at the location. However, this Gothic styled church, with beautiful vaulted ceilings as we know it today, was constructed early 1300s and took close to 300 years to complete. As expected with most churches you can find beautiful stained glass windows inside with religious illustrations.
