Sacré-Coeur is located on top of the Montmartre Hill, one of the highest points in Paris. As the result you get a great view of the city from the front of the Church.

This gorgeous white church was build in 1876 and took about 40 years to complete it's construction.

Inside this Romanesque / Byzantine styled church you can find beautiful paintings and sculptures. Also, one of the largest bells in the world is housed in this church.

A must see Church and area in Paris.

To get to this church you have a few options (all include some walking on your part)

Via Metro:

Jules Joffrin then take Montmartobus
Pigale then take Montmartobus
Anvers - Abbesse then take Funiculaire

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Sunday 6:00 am - 11 pm (last admission at 10:15pm)

For climbing up the dome hours summer time: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm and winter time 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
