Best Restaurants in ParisDining in Paris is a unique experience. In the cafes
and restaurants you can engage in long conversations and enjoy your meal in
a relaxed environment as nobody is in a rush to get rid of you. You usually
start with an Entres (which is an appetizer or salad or both), main
course, cheese, coffee or tea and dessert.
Of course all meals need that special wine as well.
Most restaurants are smoking with maybe a few seats
allocated for non-smokers!!! Although, this seems to be changing as we
speak.
People in Paris do
dress up. If you are planning to dine in restaurants please try to
avoid shorts and running shoes. Otherwise you can eat at the cafes or
brasseries (breweries)!
Some restaurants are closed on Saturday, Sunday and/or
Mondays. Also during February and August some restaurants are closed between
2 to 4 weeks.
Don’t worry about gaining weight as with all the
walking you will do, you probably end up losing some! Assuming you won’t be
dining at McDonald’s that is. By the way you can order Beer at
McDonald’s in Paris!!!

Dining Tip:
Normally tips are included in price of your meal in
Paris, however, if you get good service it is normal to leave the
garcon between 2 -20 Euros.
