| I lived in Paris for three years and Pastavino was in my neighborhood of Passy. I was a frequent diner and always took visitors there, who also enjoyed it. There are mirrored walls to make the small space look larger and I, who can be claustrophobic, never felt anything but comfortable there. My son in law is an Italian chef (from Tuscany) so I am quick to judge authenticity and taste of Italian food anywhere outside of Italy! The food is well prepared and tasty and the prices reasonable (for Paris). I am returning to Paris for a week in October and Pastavino is definitely on my list of places to re-visit! It is also nice not to have to dress up to have dinner every night! (Parisians are very chic and stylish and they DO dress for dining out, but Pastavino is a nice, casual neighborhood restaurant.) |
