Le Relais de l'Entrecote is a must dine in restaurant in Paris. You start with their lovely Endive Salad followed by their famous Rib Steak cut thinly and served with the best fries you have ever had. The steak is serverd with the Entrecote's secret sauce! If you like your steak well done, beware that you may not get your steak as well done as you like it. You can also choose from a great selection of deserts.
You have 3 great locations to choose from with the one on Rue Marbeuf, just off Champs-Elysees being our favorite one.
We recommend you go there early as they do not take reservations and you can expect line-ups.

After previously eating at this restaurant we were disappointed with our recent visit. We were greeted unenthusiastically and ushered to our table. At times we felt like a number instead of a valued diner. The food was good even though the sauce had a strange after taste. A bottle of wine was knocked off our table and instead of offering to move us (by this time there were available tables), the waitress chatted with a colleague, eventually swept up the glass and ignored us. She seemed surprised when we asked for our bill! Overall we had been looking forward to our return visit, for both the food and the atmosphere but alas this time neither met our expectations. We left sadly underwhelmed by the experience at Le Relais de l'Entrecote.

Started eating here as an airline pilot in 1976. I have recommended the restraunt to thousands without one complaint. When I lived in Paris in the eighties, I ate here twice a week. If I were on death row this would be my last meal.

A must., Oct 07, 2010 |

I have been dining here since the early eighties, also at the sister restaurant in Geneva. The Paris restaurant to the rear of Boulevard Gouvion Saint-Cyr, was originally owned an run by two sisters, in the mid eighties one of the sisters opened the same in Geneva. I have always experienced the same standard, excellence. I never visit Paris without dining there, expecting a wait of approx 25-35 minutes for a table.

Make a point of eating here every time we travel to Paris. Always a line up. And always worth the wait. Only one item on the menu so there is no need to know a lot of French!!! Absolutely delicious and not too pricey!!
