Chapelle Expiatoire was built between 1816 and 1826 over a cemetery where Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were buried.  The construction of this chapel was ordered by Louis XVIII to honour Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.

Chapelle Expiatoire Hours of Operation:

Open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm.

Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well as January 1, May 1, November 1, November 11 and December 25.
